The Waterfalls Global Award initiative invites organisations and individuals from across the world to nominate exceptional individual contributions from the health profession who faced front line adversity during the COVID 19 Pandemic.
Those nominated may or may not still be with them today but through the organisations and communities they represented have the opportunity to share their experience, sacrifice and achievements.

Award Guidelines
Award Terms
- Nominations must be submitted using the online form.
- A pre-validation will be required.
- Once validation is complete, the submission process may proceed, which will require a submission of up to 600 words.
- A Passport copy of the nominated individual will be required.
- Option A. The online form should be completed in full by the organization.
- Option B. The online form should be completed in full by the Individual and validated by the organization.
- The online form should include a minimum of 2 signatories other than the nominee.
- Additional evidence of the nominated activity may be requested by the Executive Office.
- Receipt of all forms will be acknowledged.
- The Executive office has the right to reject an application if deemed not suitable.
- The Jury selection shall be final.
- The Jury reasons for selection will remain confidential.
- The recipients of the award shall be announced on National Doctor Day March 30th 2022
Criteria Summary
- Dedicated to health professionals affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Recipients who went above and beyond in their service during the pandemic.
- Option A. The online form should be completed in full by the organization nominating the individual.
- Option B. The online form should be completed in full by the Individual and validated by the organization.
- Nominations are open to those individuals who are health staff or volunteers professionally linked to the fields of health and humanitarian. Professional organizations should be registered and may be from the public and private sector.
- Objective: To catalogue service, stories and experiences.
- Objective: To share results for the purpose of education and knowledge.
