Emerging Technologies
Special focus on Artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). Other technologies such as augmented reality (AR), blockchain, robotics, 3D printing, virtual reality (VR), cybersecurity, gaming, and others will be highlighted.

Speaker’s Bio:

Dr. Nabil Shalaby is the founder and chairman at Arab Entrepreneur House (ARENHO) consulting firm, co-founder of Delta Technopreneurs Association (DTA), which accommodates ICT companies from Delta governorates. He is an expert in the applications of emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence and the Internet of things, and included many of their case studies and practices in the courses that he taught for the departments of Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering, Mansoura University. He also taught many subjects in ITI Mansoura, faculty of engineering, and Misr Higher Institute for Engineering & Technology (M.E.T) in Mansoura, such as entrepreneurship, manufacturing engineering, project management, marketing, negotiation skills, communication, presentation & pitching skills, team building, and leadership skills. He was a jury member of the Start with Google award, Saudi SMEs award, Arab Science and Technology Foundation BP competition, MENA100 BP award, and Sultanate of Oman entrepreneurship governmental award. He was selected as the advisor of entrepreneurship and SMEs capacity building for 57 Countries, members of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC). He is the International Council for Small Business, USA (ICSB) award winner for the most innovative idea. He was the advisor of the small industries committee at the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI). He is the author of 33 books, and more than forty research papers pertained to Engineering, ICT, SMEs Development, and Entrepreneurship for the last +30 years’ experience journey. He designed first Egypt’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem interactive map, which accommodates 313 entrepreneurship support channels in its version six. He was selected by Entovation, USA as one of the top 100 entrepreneurship and innovation world gurus. He writes periodical articles in Loghat Alasr Magazine, published by AL-Ahram, Rowad AlAamal International Magazine, Al-Watan, and Al-Ahram newspapers. His expertise ranges from on-the-ground practical experience as a designer of military and civil products in the Arab Organization of Industrialization (AOI), SMEs development consultant at the Canadian small and medium enterprises support the project, to serving as the director of Mansoura University Technology Incubator, and a regional expert, helping Arab countries to establish small business centers, incubators and foster entrepreneurship on a macro level. He has tens of awards from Egypt and abroad. He holds a Ph.D. degree in engineering from Mansoura University on technology incubation; also MSc degree which covered the SMEs advisory services topic.
